Board of Trustees
The Trenton Music Experience is a grass-roots movement to showcase and celebrate our city’s music innovators and influencers -- composers, promoters and performers from opera to hip hop. TME is a registered 501c3 nonprofit with a volunteer board of local community advocates and music enthusiasts.
Paul M Zych, President
Paul has loved music all his life. He is a father, husband, and a proud Trenton resident.
Growing up in Milwaukee, WI, Paul played clarinet, flute and tenor saxophone throughout grade school and high school. Today, he seeks out and enjoys live music performances across all genres.
His professional life has focused on sales and retail management, starting with a paper route. He understands how the Trenton community has influenced music of all kinds, and wants to share that legacy with as big an audience as possible.
Why TME?
“After touring several music museums in New Orleans, St. Louis, Memphis, Nashville and Kansas City, I asked, why isn’t there a place to honor our local musicians and their accomplishments? Let’s make this happen!”

Winifred Howard, Treasurer
A native Trentonian, Winifred served as Jazz Program Manager for WWFM JazzOn2 from 2007 until retiring in 2022.
She served with the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman during the Vietnam War Era; and has worked in health care, clerical and customer support positions.
Her lifelong love of radio rekindled while working on her church sound crew and at Mercer County Community College earning an Associate of Applied Science in Radio and TV (with a Radio Emphasis) where she joined WWFM, as a part-time production assistant and later, a producer.
Winifred grew up in a music-loving family, and jokes that music most likely entered her life “in utero.” Her mother loved the blues, her father jazz, her grandparents followed gospel, country and folk music.
Why TME?
“Trenton, and all of New Jersey, has an incredibly rich musical history.
It’s time to showcase it and celebrate!”
